Gordan Matta Clark was an American artist best known for his work that were sight-specific in the 1970s.
I was very drawn to Gordan Matta Clark's work and his use of 'cutting out'. I thought this was an effective was to show a perspective within another perspective. It lets you have access to a different exposure within a single room. Matta Clarks work shows a completely different and larger perspective within an already busy room. I thought his idea could work well within my space to show a larger perspective of washing your face. Why wash your face? What is my client preparing for?
